Overall Review

(Spoilers below, please do not read on if you have not watch the drama)

The genre of this drama setting is totally my cup of tea:

Afterlife world, doctors, ghosts!

If one is expecting any horror and scary moments, there is not none in this drama. Its focus are towards between two men who seemed totally different and they learned more about each other with each episodes through this seemingly impossible ways.

From point to point, it's ironic how Cha Young Min's arrogant method/character as a doctor came back to bite him when he become Ghost Patient Cha Young Min. And as the drama progressed on, it also worked on how destiny and fate played a big part for Tes, Cha Young MinKo Seung Tak and Oh Soo Jeong.

Want to see more on the the coma ghost who woke up after their surgery, want to see more of Cha Young Min and Ko Seung Tak in action as duo and also the love line for both the doctors although it's obvious Cha Young Min and Jang Se Jin were in a stable relationship and just short of a wedding bell while Ko Seung Tak and Oh Soo Jeong are not even "officially a couple" yet.

If only they have could used more episodes as only it was only till the last episode that they wrapped up all ends.

Overall a great drama, nice chemistry flow amount the cast.

From Episode 1-6

At episode 1, I almost gave up this drama because of the traits of both Cha Young Min and Ko Seung Tak. When Cha Young Min got into a car accident, and kickstarted the "ghost" of Cha Young Min possessed Ko Seung Tak, the drama become more interesting. With each episodes, the story slowly unfold. Like how both characters become who they are now, and who is the villains behind the scenes and the people involved and the possible reasons to why both main characters are the targets of those villians.

As of now at episode 6, the reason for the Ko Seung Tak to see ghost and be possessed by one remains unknown, and why only Cha Young Min is able to possess Ko Seung Tak also remains unknown. My guess is that in order to be possessed/to possess, both of them should have the same frequency/objective in mind to establish a link/path for the possession to take place.

Episode 7-10

It's nice to see both Cha Young Min and Ko Seung Tak doing their best for the patients and building up their rapport and getting to know each other. It's also is a surprise that the villains was aware of Cha Young Min's ghost existence. Normally it would be like a "taboo" in other drama about messing up the order of the ghost and human world talking about the "balance" but apparently not a taboo for "Ghost Doctor".

Episode 11-12

As the drama progressed with the coma patients waking up and not remembering those memories and/or seeing the ghosts, it's felt so terrible but yet had to agree that it's the need to balance the different realm of world. It's sad to see the accumulated frustration and helplessness on ghost Cha Young Min has got on him  Especially how he tried to protect his love Doctor Jang Se Jin from knowing about the ghost presence, but I wondered had it dawn on Cha Young Min that he neglected the one who was closest to him during this period of time.

Regardless of whether Cha Young Min wakes up, or passed on, Ko Seung Tak had to live with those memories he experienced with the ghosts. And now that they experienced the unstable possession situation, would it become Doctor An who will helped to make Cha Young Min 's surgery a success, or will the shaken Ko Seung Tak become a stronger man and worked his way through to become another Cha Young Min?

From Episode 13

The pain of a doctor's path. The failure surgery caused Ko Seung Tak to run away from the hospital but who can fault him. He had a tragic childhood memory and he had not experience death of a patient when he was with Cha Young Min. But it's right in place for the script to have to made him go through this to prepare him mentally should Cha Young Min's surgery failed. Hope everything will goes smoothly.

Not to forget, finally the spirit Tes finally stepped in to make Ko Seung Tak pulled up his socks. Although there are supporting roles in all dramas/films, but in this drama, the supporting casts were just so great in their roles be it the spirits, the villians or the doctors.

Episode 14

Turned out Ko Seung Tak's accident 20 years ago resulted in the fate of everyone with the very first person Tes, (Professor Oh)

And yes! It's finally time that Ko Seung Tak levelled up!

While it seemed a bit far stretched that Ko Seung Tak could master the practical techniques with vigorous training, but well, having a master beside him + the determination does do it's magic.

Now that almost everyone knew about the ghost Cha Young Min, I am just hoping for a happy ending for everyone including the current ghosts who are still in coma. Hope that Cha Young Min will figure out their conditions and do his magic for both of them before he gets his surgery.

*Hoping that he will remember his times as a ghost if not it will be so sad for Ko Seung Tak.

Episode 15

Once again, Tes, (Professor Oh), saved the day. I held my breath so long at the end of episode 14 when there was no one who could see where Cha Young Min was and Ko Seung Tak already blacked out!

Looking forward to how they are going to wrap up the whole Chief Han, Villain Jang and Doctor Ahn's conspiracy that led to the Chairman Jang's coma.

Now that Doctor Ahn seemed to be on the "good men" wagon, maybe he will be their key witness to reveal the whole truth.

Looking at how they gave screen time for the now back to life Bo Mi and still coma Hong Gil, hope they will give them a happy together wrap up! And hope that Kook Chan get to transfer to somewhere near his family so he has a better chance to seeing them.

Just hope the end of the drama won't be another opening ending kind.

Final Episode 16

Yes! A happy ending for the main characters.

Welcome back to real life, Cha Young Min! Got a good scare since most of the coma ghosts who came back to life didn't recall their "ghost" time. But fortunately Ko Seung Tak was spared from having to help refresh Cha Young Min's memory as he remembered them all!

Sad that Kook Chan is the sole ghost who didn't get his "back to real life" chance. But minimally he now got to be near to his family.

And farewell to Tes aka Professor Oh. It's sad but it's better for him now that everyone got their happy ending and he can move on.

And yesh, the villains are now where they belonged.
